The Appolia mortar is Peugeot's quiet workhorse for the spice corner of the kitchen — ceramic made in France from 100% natural ingredients, paired with an ergonomic beechwood pestle.
The interior carries a rougher enamel that grips spices, herbs, and seeds as you work them, while resisting stains and odours. Spice mixes, pestos, vinaigrettes, marinades — the same vessel handles all of them. Available in two finishes.
Care
Hand-wash the mortar; the beechwood pestle should be wiped dry rather than soaked.
